Fulcrum assists power generators and financial entities with energy management services and negotiations to acquire physical power
plants.
Our services are currently engaged by:
 Power generation facilities fueled by traditional fossil fuels, including baseload and
intermediate, and peaking generation.
Renewable energy generators, including large-scale wind farms, biomass and
landfill gas generators.
Monetization strategies differ based on type of capacity for a facility. Variables include: type of fuel resource, the market location and
unit dispatchability. These variables along with the market rules and forward pricing are taken into consideration in developing the
strategy for baseload and intermediate, peaking, and renewable generation.
Services for power generation facilities include:
Scheduling and dispatch on a 24-hour basis
Develop and implement plans for hedging, asset optimization and risk management reporting
Manage fuel supply requirements, including transportation and storage strategies
Close coordination with plant operations personnel to achieve top quartile performance based
on operational efficiency in market
Provide marketing and origination services for capacity and energy sales
Develop and implement transmission procurement strategies
Provide business management and advisory services
